Aisha X. Elliott
Manager of Research and Community Partnerships
Aisha X. Elliott is a Manager of Research and Community Partnerships at Columbia Justice Lab, assisting in research for the Rikers Island Longitudinal Study (RILS) and the Square One project.
Prior to joining the staff in the Justice Lab, she was personally affected by incarceration and contends that her involvement in RILS and other studies will change the landscape of the United States through the minimization of modern-day plantations, typically referred to as prisons and jails.
Aisha holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Marymount Manhattan College.
