Jasmin Sandelson
Research Manager for the Square One Project
Jasmin Sandelson is a Research Manager for the Square One Project. In this role, she oversees research and evaluation of the project’s local and national work.
Previously, she was an Associate Research Scholar at the Justice Lab. She worked on the Rikers Island Longitudinal Study (RILS), a multi-method research project gathering and analyzing data from system-impacted New Yorkers. She also worked with REFORM Alliance on an initiative to reform probation and parole.
Jasmin earned a PhD in sociology from Harvard University. Her forthcoming book explores the overlooked power and potential of friendships between girls growing up in a low-income Boston-area neighborhood. She has a BA in sociology from Cambridge University, and is currently an MFA student in creative non-fiction at New York University.
